Today's xanga entry will be in regards to Dwesuhyo and gwenchanayo.
There is a difference and using the wrong one can be socially disastrous.
Let's put ourselves in a situation. You go to your girlfriends parent's house, and your girlfriend's mom wants to cut fruit for you to eat. Now you should always say yes but lets say you can't have any fruit because of allergies. You will have to refuse the fruit. If you say "Gwenchanayo" then that roughly translates to "no thank you." It is a polite way of saying no. If you say Dwesuhyo, you will be saying roughly "I'm okay." However, Dwesuhyo has a negative conotation. If I offered someone food or drink and they said dwesuhyo, I would be a little upset.
So, unless your trying to make the other person mad or distant, stick with gwenchanayo.
